Richland Source: Caveh Azadeh on six store licenses, Mansfield traffic and competition

Richland Source reported that Caveh Azadeh came to cannabis from mortgage sales and other businesses. When Ohio approved medical cannabis, he and partners applied, were turned down, kept going, and secured a Level I license in 2021.

He said the license allowed up to 25,000 square feet of growing and carried three dispensary licenses, and King City Gardens bought three more. He described Mansfield as sitting between Columbus and Cleveland, with traffic from towns that ban dispensaries.

Azadeh welcomed a competitor ten minutes away. He measured convenience in sales: roughly three in ten Camp Washington sales went out the drive-thru window.
