King City Gardens Ranked #35 on Cincinnati Business Courier's Top Manufacturers List

Our growth and impact earn a spot among the region's most significant manufacturers — a milestone for Ohio's cannabis industry.

King City Gardens has been named number 35 on the Cincinnati Business Courier's annual list of the region's top manufacturers, ranked by local employment. It is the first time our team has appeared on the list, and it places cannabis cultivation alongside the manufacturers that have defined this city for generations.

The ranking reflects a simple thing: people. Our cultivation, processing and packaging teams have grown steadily year over year, and nearly all of those roles are filled by people who live in Greater Cincinnati. Every plant that leaves our facility passes through their hands.

Recognition from outside the industry matters for a category that is still new to Ohio. Appearing on a list built on payroll and production, rather than on hype, says that licensed cannabis cultivation is a manufacturing business — and a serious employer — in this region.

Thank you to the Business Courier, to our dispensary partners, and above all to the team who earned this. We are just getting started.
