Gabrielle Dion of MedicateOhio reported from the media day. MedicateOhio counts Dayton, so it called Colerain Township King City Gardens' fourth store, while by the company's count it is the third Garden in Greater Cincinnati.

Bill Foster and Steve Anevski described the search: 18 months, three attempts and a 750-foot buffer from prohibited uses before a location worked. They credited township officials, the landlord and local contractors.
Manager Brijeit Harrison Schnurr said the layout gives the team room, with a kitchen area and a floor made for crowds. Crews from the first two stores came over to train the 40-plus new hires.
